In writing “The Lion and The Cross” I hope to have created a song that is distinctly Scottish. One which celebrates Scotland’s rich historical heritage and stunning landscapes, but which also looks to the future and calls to Scots everywhere, wherever they may be in the world.........
..... for me it’s essential that a Scottish anthem should be playable on bagpipes .. our national instrument. For this reason, I’ve written both instrumental and sung versions of “The Lion and The Cross”
